Ellydee Deploys Zero-Knowledge Encryption for AI Conversations
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
AI Platform eliminates provider access to user data through end-to-end cryptographic architecture
FRANKFURT—October 6, 2025— Ellydee today announced the deployment of zero-knowledge encryption for all conversational data, becoming the first AI platform to implement end-to-end encryption where cryptographic keys remain exclusively under user control.
The architecture utilizes libsodium’s XChaCha20-Poly1305 authenticated encryption and Argon2id key derivation, ensuring conversation history remains mathematically inaccessible without the user’s password or BIP39 recovery phrase. Unlike standard encryption-at-rest models that rely on provider-held keys, Ellydee’s zero-knowledge implementation prevents data decryption by platform operators, infrastructure providers, or third parties pursuant to legal process.
Corporate operations have relocated to Germany to maximize data sovereignty protections. Inference infrastructure operates from 100% renewable energy facilities in Finland, connected via self-controlled WireGuard networking to eliminate transit over public internet backbones.
The platform additionally offers an “Eco-Mode” feature that reduces per-query energy consumption by approximately 50 percent through prompt distillation techniques, validated against the ELLE dataset methodology.
Ellydee maintains a content-neutral access policy, providing unrestricted AI capabilities without categorical refusals for lawful inquiries while furnishing explicit risk disclosures where appropriate.
